Shipping policy
Delivery is guaranteed when addresses are correct and current. Landies Candies, Inc. cannot be responsible for incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses.
Landies is not responsible for packages misdirected after delivery.
Shipments returned due to an incorrect shipping address will require an additional charge for reshipment.
Landies is not responsible for late shipments due to weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control. Liability for shipment delays due to non-weather related conditions will be limited to a refund of the shipping costs, unless of course, you didn't pay any.
All orders ship via UPS.
PO Box addresses ship via UPS Surepost which provides Ground Shipping only to PO Box addresses.
We do not ship to APO or other military addresses at this time.
We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii at this time.
Shipping charges apply for EACH ship to address.
Ground orders of 3 or more sets ship free.
Shipping charges & options vary throughout the year based on weather conditions:
November through April:
Daily shipping Monday through Friday.
All ship to destinations will offer ground, 2nd day and overnight shipping options.
We will ship with complementary cold packs if your ship to destination is warm. Weather conditions are checked through The Weather Channel.
For warm weather ship to destinations: we may need to delay your shipment to ensure your product arrives intact. For example, orders received on Thursday/Friday with arrivals the following week may be delayed until the following Monday to avoid your shipment sitting over the weekend. We will notify you of these delays. Alternatively, we may expedite your order complementarily to ensure they arrive intact.
May and October:
Daily shipping Monday through Friday.
All ship to destinations will offer 2nd Day Air and Overnight shipping. Ground options will be offered as temperatures become more moderate and cold packs are no longer required. This may vary throughout the month.
For warm weather ship to destinations: we may need to delay your shipment to ensure your product arrives intact. For example, orders received on Thursday/Friday with arrivals the following week may be delayed until the following Monday to avoid your shipment sitting over the weekend. We will notify you of these delays. Alternatively, we may expedite your order complementarily to ensure they arrive intact.
June through September: Warm Weather Shipping.
Daily shipping is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Thursday is Overnight only. This avoids shipments sitting over the warm weekend.
Ground Shipping is available only to states that arrive within 2 business days.
Be sure to send your order to a location where someone will be able to receive it immediately. Even with insulation and cold packs chocolate melts when left outside!
A warm weather handling fee of $9.75 will be added to your order for every 4 boxes of product purchased. This includes cold packs and insulated bubble wrap to protect your product.
